Seriously, have I not blogged since September last year? How did that happen!? Probably the lengthy trip to the land down under and the various volunteer commitments and the fundraiser for the Australian bushfires and yes, even actual work and life have all keep me busy, but honestly, how long does it take to write a blog post? Not seven months, that’s for sure.
I think it’s time to get back at it, and not just because since my last post WordPress has changed the way I used to blog, which means I have to figure that out now as well. How do I put in that small vertical photo again so text can actually flow around it?
Anyway, while I navigate this new world of blogging in which I find myself, I’ll post this one to help me get back into the swing of things. And then, because the times have also become more interesting and challenging with COVID-19 directing how and where we work and interact, friend Michelle Ang will be a guest blogger. Michelle recently delivered a presentation at a meeting of the Winnipeg Peace Builders Toastmasters Club, and I thought, Wow! That would make a great blog – one person’s perspective on Working From Home.
As for me, fingers crossed the re-learning curve isn’t too brain twisting, but there’s no use putting it off. I certainly don’t want to have another seven months go by before posting my next blog.
As for you, hope you are all taking care of yourselves in these interesting times. With a bit of luck and good management, maybe the tide will turn sooner than we think.
Good luck to all of us!
